Nation Power – Grid IX is an Indigenous-owned and governed clean infrastructure initiative advancing a multi-gigawatt energy corridor through Blackfoot Treaty 4, 1 and 2 territories. It is a 1300+ kms of Underground Ultra High Voltage (UHV) transmission line from Alberta-Blackfoot Confederacy to Sk-Treaty 4 to MB-Treaty 1-2 traversing along the national railway corridor and Federal Right of Way. 

(Alberta(2)-Saskatchewan(1)-Manitoba(2)). 

The project integrates High Voltage Renewable Power Supply with High Voltage Direct Current transmission infrastructure with Indigenous equity ownership, governance rights, and long-term benefit sharing.
